We are in search of a Field Service Specialist (Technician) to bolster our team of experts in fire detection systems. The role involves providing on-site service to customers in relation to fire and evacuation systems, encompassing maintenance, commissioning, and troubleshooting. All clientel is based in the Netherlands, specifically in the South-West region, ensuring compliance with Dutch fire safety regulations.

Core Responsibilities

• On-site maintenance, commissioning, and repair of complex equipment and systems in the field, often working independently.
• Adherence to detailed work instructions and the ability to update outdated or incorrect directives with assistance from engineering teams.
• Introduction of enhancements to training guides and documentation.
• Implementation of continuous improvement initiatives in the field to swiftly address administrative issues related to equipment delivery and installation.
• Customer training in proper equipment usage, troubleshooting, and basic repair procedures for intricate systems.
• Representing Honeywell at industry conferences and delivering technical presentations.

What We Require

• Essential qualification: Maintenance Expert in Fire (ODB) – with qualifications taking precedence, though experience is a bonus.
• Fluent in Dutch, with English as a plus.
• A flexible work model that includes remote work but predominantly on-site customer visits.
• Availability to work in the South-West region of the Netherlands.
• Regular work hours from 8 am to 4:30 pm, with the need for flexibility to accommodate customer demands, potentially including weekends.
• The ability to travel throughout the Netherlands by car for customer visits.
